The Suburbs of the Subconscious is where one's inner being  takes center stage. It welcomed its first subject in 1990.

Background
At a cafe, I met a man who said he knew I was an artist. He said "In my soul, I am Oscar Wilde." I suggested we capture the Oscar within him. After I built a set, he bathed in powder and laid on a fur-covered chair. Oscar had been documented.
